Limited Edition 20

Stroll along a boardwalk, through a reedbed, and listen out for the ‘chattering’ song of a Reed Warbler, before trying to find this tiny, well camouflaged, brown-coloured bird. Created for the RSPB Conwy High Tide Collection, this clock holds two proud parents watching over their nest built high into the reeds, as another sings a song of thanksgiving. Reed Warblers weave their nests as a sling between two or three reed stems and lay three to five eggs in it. It has to be said that a Reed Warbler’s nest is a work of art, taking a week or more to build from reed leaves and fronds, and lined with reed flowers. And so it is with this little edition, ticking the passage of time from birth to flight.
