Goviers are thrilled to launch their Victoria Earrings with three stunning white topaz stones (6mm cushion, 8mm cushion and 12mm x 8mm teardrop) totalling approximately 12 carats per pair, set in 9ct white gold. Inspired by earrings originally owned by Queen Victoria who left them to the Crown on her death in 1901. They were originally made with diamonds taken from the ‘Timur Ruby Necklace’ and they are known to have been one of H.M. Queen Elizabeth II’s favourite earrings and were worn at the Coronation in 1953. They had also been worn by Queen Mary at the 1911 Coronation and the Queen Mother at the 1937 Coronation. So favoured were these earrings that they appear on all British coinage today.
