Moorcroft Discovery

Keen gardeners will tell of the sheer joy of lifting up giant marrow, tomato or cucumber leaves and seeing plump, ripe fruit hiding underneath. It is better still when a farmer who grows a field full of carrots or other root vegetables hidden under earth, whose livelihood depends on a good crop, digs his spade into the ground to find a good harvest. Discovery uses the elongated candlestick stem to weave carrot leaves up to the burning wick. Around the base, displayed like Harvest offerings on an altar, ripe, plump, fiery-red tomatoes; amber-flamed carrots; vibrant-green broccoli stems; rich reddish-purple aubergines and beetroot, hold a feast of colour for Discovery.
